As with every other bond in life, romantic relationships also have their do’s and don’ts. Though love tend to be blind at times, any and every relationship can end up in a breakup if certain strings are pulled for too long.

Naturally extremely dangerous moves like flirting and double dating should be ruled out of the books if you intend to make it a long-term relationship.
However, there lots of other common habits that we tend to overlook, these habits also hold the unstoppable power of ending your relationship if you don’t discover and stop them. They include:
1. Putting your attention on your phone all the time: This 21st century habit has severed thousands of promising relationships around the world. Though the logic behind it is quite simple, most Nigerian guys tend to overlook its dangerous potentials till it eventually cost us a wife material. Ladies love attention. They are literally addicted to it. They can withstand not getting the attention of a friend of colleague, but not getting it from a lover is a huge red flag that can eventually ruin your relationship.
2. Making jokes of your partner in public: Yes ladies love funny guys. But not when the joke is at their own expense. As much as she might laugh hysterically when you crack jokes of your friend, colleagues, or even your family members, she will definitely not be wearing a smile on her face when the joke takes a slight swipe at her. Making jokes about your partner in public can lead to a very swift and painful breakup.
3. Keeping score of her wrongs: This habit literally reeks of childishness. Individuals that keep score rarely tend to maintain long friendships, talk more of relationships. Naturally we must offend each other at one point or another in our friendship/relationship. Keeping track of your spouse’s wrong doings in a bid to use it against her someday, will definitely end up in a breakup.
4. An aggressive attitude: Though this habit is sometimes good for business and marketing, it is bad from all views when you apply it in your relationship. Raising our voice at the slightest provocation, hurling abusive words at her, or even raising your hand against a lady will definitely make you every ladies worst nightmare.
5. Criticizing her loved ones: Relatives on every Nigerian young lady tend to be over protective of their daughter(s) till she remain single long after 20. They are not likely to welcome you with a huge smile when you walk up to them at first sight, but you must understand that gaining their trust will literally take a very long time. Don’t criticize them for any reason whatsoever. Any attempt to criticize them will automatically send signals to the lady’s mind that you can live with her loved ones in the long run.
