Blackmagic is that one singer that is tragically underrated due to the fact that his kind of afro hip-pop isn’t a genre that’s commonly heard. Now, months after the release of his last single, “Trouble”, Blackmagic has returned with a massive collaboration, “Wonder”, featuring American rapper, Fetty Wap.
Speaking about the track on Instagram, Blackmagic said: “The song is inspired by an ode to the beauty that African women possess, and the power of that beauty to inspire art and creativity. The song is about the pure pleasure of watching a beautiful woman dance, the radiance of her smile and the wonder of her body. A woman’s beauty is one of the many joys of life.”
Produced by Xela, the original song which was released in 2016 was slower and more soulful. The accompanying video was commended for its use of special effects and its overall cinematography but has since been taken off YouTube following the re-release.
