Award winning “Penalty” crooner, Michael Owusu Addo A.K.A Small Doctor, revealed a series of toughening experiences he faced before his amazing rise in the Nigerian music industry during an interview with Punch newspaper. He disclosed that he once had to take the job of a bus conductor in his quest to survive in Lagos.
He said “I was a bus conductor and a commercial motorcyclist. I also hawked sachet water but I thank God for the gift of life now because I am one of the most sought-after artistes at the moment. I just feel that there is no limitation to what anybody can achieve in life.”
It is quite easy for a young conductor to get stuck in that phase of life in Lagos. But Michael was not suppressed by the position he found himself and eventually, he rose to the position of an award wining artiste in the Nigerian music industry.
