Sensational Nigerian artiste, Mr 2Kay, became the headlines yesterday when he celebrated his birthday, and indeed, the young fast-rising star really have a whole lot to be grateful for.
His amazing journey from the riverside in Rivers state to the peak of the Nigerian music industry is indeed a journey to look back on. Mr 2Kay started out as a professional craftsman. But the young bundle of talent was determined to be the man in the portrait one day, and his dream suddenly became a reality in 2012, when he released “Bubugaga” which was eventually reviewed by the Top British mainstream. The Daily Mirror and also UK top music magazine MixMag has given it a great review.
His career survived a traumatizing experience when he and his girlfriend became robbery victims in Eko Hotel. He was assaulted, brutalized and humiliated in a good number of ways but he eventually rose above it all, to become a very promising talent in the music industry.
