Cristiano Dos Santos Alverio Ronaldo has resounded his name as the ultimate player in the global football sphere.
Ronaldo reminded the world of his exceptional ability to carry the weight of the whole team on his shoulders when he scored all goals for Portugal in their opening world cup match against Spain.
In spite of the fact that he was playing against an all-star Spanish team, Ronaldo rose above the other 21 men on the pitch to display one of his unique performances that has earned him five Ballon d’or awards.
From his prolific spot kick that earned his team their first goal to his perfect positioning and finishing that provided the second, and eventually, his trademark free kick that sealed up the night for Portugal, Ronaldo made it clear on Friday June 15, that he is naturally ahead of all other players he has arguably been compared with, including Argentina’s Lionel Messi.
