Arsenal have been drawn against CSKA Moscow in the quarter finals on the Europa League.
With the Gunners trailing fourth placed Liverpool by 12 points, winning the Europa League represents Arsene Wenger’s best hope of qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
Arsenal reached the last eight of the competition after a convincing 5-1 aggregate victory over Serie A giants AC Milan in the round of the last 16.
The full Europa League Draw is as follows: RB Leipzig v Marseille Arsenal v CSKA Moscow Atletico Madrid v Sporting Lisbon Lazio v FC Salzburg. Arsene Wenger would have been pleased with the draw, particularly after naming Atletico Madrid as the side he had hoped to avoid.
