DMX Might Be Sentenced To Five Years Imprisonment For Tax Evasion

Popular American rapper and actor, DMX (real name: Earl Simmons), might be heading back to jail again after he pled guilty to one count of tax evasion in a New York court on Thursday.
DMX struck a plea deal in his tax evasion case to avoid the 44-year jail term he initially faced for the case.
In an interview with TMZ, his lawyer, Murray Richman, said DMX told the court that he intentionally avoided paying taxes on royalties and other monies. Richman also added that the rapper does fear going to jail, but he took the deal either-way, knowing fully well, the consequences he could face on the case.
