Chanel To Make An Appearance At The New York Pre-Fall 2019 Show After Over A Decade

Chanel is set to return to New York after over a decade away for the fashion week in the city

Following inspiration from the Chanel founder; Gabrielle Chanel and current creative director, Karl Lagerfeld’s, the presentation of the collection is set to return to New York for its pre fall 2019 show after having its last appearance at the New York shows in 2006. Twelve years later, the brand is set to make a come back to New York after having its main fashion shows featured in Rome and Paris. In the over 100 years long history of the fashion brand, it has only made appearance the New York shows twice. The first being in at its Fifth Avenue store in 2005 and the other at the Grand central Station for its resort 2007 collection. This great switch will hopefully inspire other brands to do same as the show is scheduled to hold on the 4th of December at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
