Rap superstar Nicki Minaj and Lewis Hamilton have fuelled rumours they are dating after they were snapped quad biking at sunset.
The 35-year-old rap star and the Formula One ace, 33, posed on the sand dunes of Dubai, amid rumours of their unlikely romance. The pair are said to have grown close after appearing together at a New York Fashion week party earlier in the month.
They individually shared snaps of their dune buggy adventure – and seemed to be pretty comfortable squeezed onto one bike. Lewis shared a pic of them both flipping the bird as he straddles Nicki, who is sat in front. He captioned it “Riders” and added the Trinidad and Tabago and the Grenada flag.
Nicki posted an intimate snap to her own account. The selfie, taken by Hamilton, shows them in red crash helmets. Nicki shows off her famous curves in a low cut Versace body suit plastered in text and graphics. She wrote: “Caribbean tingz what I on. Me & Lewis gettin paper like what ink dry on.” It is not clear if the pair were on a romantic getaway together or ran into each other by coincidence. On Friday, Ms Minaj took to the photo sharing app to share a video of herself wearing nothing but a red thong and a black cropped top.
In the since-deleted video, Her Minajesty could be seen pouting for the camera and playing with her hair. Fans were quick to note that Nicki’s video drew the attention of Lewis who both liked the video and left a comment. “Oh hey,” the sportsman wrote – alongside a crying-with-laughter emoji and a slightly anguished emoji. Speculation has been rife that the pair have struck up a romance – with Nicki recently teasing she has embarked on a new relationship with a mystery man.
“Well, there was a new boy but he and I kind of fell back a little bit. And then…” she told Ellen DeGeneres earlier this month. “And then there’s a newer… yeah, fairly new. He’s been around for a couple wigs. But I don’t have a boy,” she added. Nicki and Lewis looked cosy together at a Tommy Hilfiger fashion event held in New York in early September.
The event was thrown in Lewis’ honour as he has collaborated with the American fashion giant for a collection featuring his initials – brought together to look like an H. Nicki and Lewis cosied up together for photographs – with the racing car driver placing a hand on Nicki’s back. The pair had previously sat together during an Alexander Wang Spring 2016 fashion show in late 2015.
